Meet Your Instructor | Larry Figueroa
Currently pursuing his PhD in New York City and splitting his time between NYC and Michigan, Larry is a West Michigan native who studied both classical and jazz piano at Hope College.

Larry has had broad involvement in the music community, having sat on the board of St. Cecilia Music Center of Grand Rapids until the end of 2020, where he served as chair of the finance committee. He has also served as a musical planner and musician at various churches, and served as interim minister of worship at Church of the Servant, CRC during 2017.
Larry takes a personalized approach with his students, crafting his teaching strategies around each student’s goals and individual strengths. The result is a truly unique and effective experience that is highly engaging and joyful.
